Matt Erjavec is a native Floridian who graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Business Management and later obtained his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  After graduating from law school, Matt returned home to Florida and began practicing as a personal injury attorney at a high-volume law firm in Tampa, Florida.  During this time, Matt gained invaluable experience handling all aspects of personal injury cases while representing thousands of injury victims.  However, this experience also exposed Matt to the shortcomings of high-volume law firms - namely, that most cases are handled in partnership with unscrupulous medical providers and rushed to a quick resolution in an effort to generate the constant stream of legal fees needed to cover their massive marketing budgets.  Unfortunately, Matt ultimately discovered that high-volume law firms primarily made decisions based solely on the financial interests of the attorneys and medical providers, and not their clients. 

In 2008, Matt started Erjavec Injury Law in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, with the goal of running a small, client-centered law firm that achieved maximum results for each individual client.  In order to achieve this, Matt focused on practicing law instead of marketing and advertising.  However, over time, the success of each individual case led to new cases as Erjavec Injury Law quickly grew through word-of-mouth referrals from former clients, medical professionals, law enforcement, first responders, and other members of the community.  

To date, Matt Erjavec has recovered tens of millions of dollars for injury victims in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, and he has accomplished this while opposing many global corporations and every major insurance company in the industry.  Matt's success has resulted in numerous individual accolades and, along the way, Erjavec Injury Law has established itself as the premier personal injury law firm in both Manatee and Sarasota Counties.
